You don’t have to be a rocket scientist, a superhero or a lion tamer to do be extraordinary - if you’re heading to Carmarthenshire this week for the National Eisteddfod you can make a big difference by visiting our stand (517/518) and starting your conversation about mental health!
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can take on the persona of one of our ‘extraordinary’ characters, but you’ll be just as welcome if you want to call in for a cuppa and find out about the little things we can all do that could make a big difference to friends, colleagues or family members who experience mental health problems.
Here’s what’s happening at the stand:
- Have you read our blogs? Meet some of the brilliant Time to Change Wales Champions who share their stories to help people understand what life with a mental illness is really like.
- Be extraordinary! Some of the characters from our Be Extraordinary campaign will be there and you can even have a go at being a ninja, astronaut or a fairy godmother!
- Meet the campaign team and find out how to bring Time to Change Wales to your workplace or group.
- Just stop for a chat and find out about the little things you can do to help someone you know who has a mental health problem.
We’ll be there all week so come and meet us at stand 517/518. We’ll look forward to meeting you!
