Pledged Employers - FAQs

FAQs on programme closure for Time to Change Wales Pledged Employers.

1. My organisation/company has written a case study for TtCW and it’s listed in the Employer section of the website. What will happen to it when the programme closes?

Employer case studies will be kept on the TtCW website for 12 months after programme closure. This is to ensure that we maximise the legacy of our work with employers and provide inspiration and ideas to other employers wanting to tackle workplace mental health stigma. We will contact all employers who have provided a case study for us for their consent prior to 31 March.

2. Can I still deliver Time to Change Wales work and events at my workplace?

Absolutely. We strongly encourage all of our employers to continue this great work beyond the programme’s duration. This was always part of the programme’s legacy and equipping you with the skills and knowledge to continue this important mission in your own organisations. We encourage you to still display the Time to Change pledge board if you have one. You can also continue to support mental health awareness days such as Mental Health Awareness Week, World Mental Health Day and Time to Talk Day.

3. Will my organisation or company still be able to access Time to Change Wales employer resources on the website after programme closure?

Yes, we will maintain the website for 12 months following programme closure. It will be a reduced version of the Time to Change Wales website and will include all resources for employers.

4. Will there be further networking events taking place?

We are not planning any further networking events after 31 March. This is for practical reasons of not having a programme team in place to organise them. The next and final Time to Change Wales Employer Network event is taking place virtually on 19 February 2025. Please register using the following link if you would like to attend.

5. Does the end of Time to Change Wales mean the end of Time to Talk Day?

No, the end of Time to Change Wales does not automatically mean the end of Time to Talk Day. Time to Talk Day is run separately by other national partners, not solely by Time to Change Wales. You can continue to support it, along with other mental health awareness days like Mental Health Awareness Week and World Mental Health Day.

6. What will happen to the Room to Talk Podcast once the programme ends?

We will continue to host the podcast for 12 months after programme closure. If you have recorded an episode with us we will be contacting you directly to ask for your consent to keep hosting your episode for another 12 months then they will be permanently removed.

7. What will happen to Time to Change Wales' social media accounts?

We will be closing down all of our social media accounts on 31 March 2025. This is due to the channels no longer serving their original intended purposes. Our host organisations will continue the dialogue about anti-stigma work on their channels.

8. What other opportunities are there for my organisation around mental health at work?

We will contact you with details of all the opportunities available to you to share your lived experience across Adferiad and Mind Cymru. Due to data protection and data transfer reasons, we are unable to pass on your details to our host organisations on your behalf.

9. What will happen to the details about my business or organisation which is saved by the Time to Change Wales team?

All personal data relating to employers and contact persons will be destroyed and deleted on 31 March. This is due to the Data Protection law which doesn’t permit us to keep or transfer your data to our host organisations. We will provide a list of opportunities to which you can opt-in and share your details with Adferiad and/or Mind Cymru should you wish to.

10. Will there be any future opportunities for employers with your organisations?

While the current Time to Change Wales programme is drawing to a close, we will be sending all employers information about how to get involved in Adferiad and Mind Cymru’s opportunities at work. Please also follow Adferiad and Mind/Mind Cymru’s social media accounts and websites.

Mind Cymru - FacebookInstagramLinkedIn

11. Will there be any follow-up surveys or the opportunity to capture Pledged Employer feedback on the programme?

Yes, we value your input and we plan to create opportunities for Pledged Employers to feed back on their experiences with the Time to Change Wales campaign before the end of March. We will contact you by email about this. This anonymised data will be used as lessons learned by our host organisations to consider for any future anti-stigma work. We’d really appreciate your support with this.
